For your consideration: 5 Easy Ways To Stay Cool And Save Money.
It's summer for a lot of us!!! Wanna keep your AC off longer to save money? Sure you do! You're a Money King. We all know AC is the reason why your electricity bills are high in the summer.
MoneyKing is lucky, we guess. He loves the heat and humidity. On occasion, however, he will employ the following costless techniques to keep himself cool:
- Shop During The Day: Don't save your shopping for early morning or evening hours. You want to be in the stores from 11am till 5pm. Use the retail outlets and restaurant's AC. Plan ahead so you're running your own AC during the cooler parts of the day.
- Wash Your Hands: This might seem a little stupid, but washing your hands often will cost you little money in water expense, and it's a great way to feel cooler in a jiffy as you can rub some of that cool water up your forearms and even splash some on your face to let air dry. You're giving your own sweat a boost.
- Drink Really Cold Water: This will easily drop your body temp in a hurry. Most folks already know this one.
- Keep A Wet Rag Around Your Neck: This tip involves wringing out the rag about once every 30 minutes, but it's like carrying a little AC unit on your neck. It's not like the luxury of AC, but it's better than nothing or paying high electricity rates.
- Wear Sandals: Millions of desert dwellers can't be wrong! Your feet retain tons of heat. No need to insulate them with shoes and socks during the summer.
Good luck out there.

Interesting comments. I've done the daytime shopping when my AC was down for a couple of days. You'd be surprised how many shorts one can buy as he ponders his broken AC.
