Recycle To Save The Planet And Maybe Get Paid Too.
For your consideration: Recycle To Save The Planet And Maybe Get Paid Too.
This is a really quick tip for making a little extra cash from your good nature and (possible) addiction.
Many of the guys in our crew enjoy a cold one from time to time: a Schlitz, a Pabst, maybe a Bud, or even a Coors.
How Many Of You Share The Love . . .
For drinkable liquids encased in aluminum cans? Be they filled with alcoholic goodness, the titillating tart nectar of lemon and lime, or the artificial pleasures brought to us from the technologies of aspartame, saccharine or sucralose, that fizzy stuff in all those cans is fun and tastes great! And most of us are buying this stuff . . .
If so many of us are so enamored with joy of fizzy, canny drinks, then why aren’t more of us recycling?
The Money Kings really have no idea . . . Maybe it just isn’t sexy to recyle. As the Money King himself was driving over to the grocery store with no less than 20 pounds of aluminum cans in the back of his truck, he was thinking to himself: Why in the world aren’t in the very least more people recycling aluminum cans for resale?
Why Money King???!!
The only reason we can think of is because TheMoneyKings.com hasn’t recommended the practice, till now.
So here’s how you make yourself a little extra cash in a very, very, very, very, very easy way:
- You probably have a garbage can in your kitchen, correct? Make a space next to your current kitchen garbage for a smaller garbage can in which you’ll only throw empty aluminum cans.
- Don’t worry about the cost of this new can. The recycled aluminum will pay for it!
- Periodically move the cans (the cans weigh next to nothing in your smaller garbage can) to a larger container outside your back door or in your garage.
- Don’t worry about the cost of the second container. The cans will pay for this expense as well! Unless, you can find one lying around somewhere (something highly likely if you visit a garage sale or do a little dumpster diving).
- Eventually, take a big load your cans to a scrap yard and get anywhere between 25 cents and 65 cents per pound.
It’s just that easy to get a little extra pocket change a couple of times a year for snacks at the movies, or a couple of gallons of gas, or heck, more soda and beer! This is so easy to do we don’t know why we didn’t mention it earlier.
MoneyKing’s scrap yard pays 50 cents and up for aluminum. If you have a scrap yard near you, take advantage of it. Save the world and get paid with this often forgotten and overlooked way to recycle!
Good luck out there.

Not a bad idea. I didn't
Not a bad idea. I didn't know you could do that. Maybe I will look up where my local scrap yard is. I just posted 2 days ago about how my parents paid for a trash collection service that no longer includes recycling. This will make me feel a little better. I still don't know what to do with the papers and plastic bottles though. If only they would pay for plastic too!

There's gotta be a way to
There's gotta be a way to find out, David. We just can't see why we all can't get paid a little for this stuff. If it were more organized, AND people were getting paid, there'd be no question. We'd all be recycling.
We'll look into it.
