Every now and again, we’ll use Monday’s to focus on India and money making opportunities. The Money King's typical audience is American. We admit this; however, the world is much bigger than our country with two oceans. The Money Kings are here to offer insight and ideas into the entire spectrum of money saving and money making tips and tricks. If you’re going to maximize returns, The Money Kings tell you to think globally and invest all over the world.

Global Investing = Sexy

Isolated Investing = Not-so-sexy

For your consideration: Making Money With The Largest Companies In India Trading In New York

Here they are:

  1. HDFC Bank
  2. Infosys Technologies
  3. Satyam Computer Services
  4. Tata Motors
  5. Wipro

The majority of these companies are tech-related. One of the most compelling companies, however, in India right now is Tata. If you haven’t heard of them, don’t worry. You will. They’re India’s largest automaker and they’re poised to start making in-roads into the small, gas-pressurized auto and light truck market. They’re linked with Fiat and Ford motors as well.

Tata currently makes the cheapest production car in the world: the Tata Nano. You might have seen it in a few movies shot in Bali or London. This vehicle will retail for $2500 US and is built to last, as opposed to previous cheaply-made and sold East-Asian vehicles. The Nano is small, yes, but I don’t think the smart money is betting that cars are going to get bigger, heavier and less fuel efficient in the coming 100 years.

The car will probably begin to compete with BMW’s Mini in the US. It will supposedly average 47 mpg. If gas prices go to $4 or more, look for more small vehicles.

Look East.
