Damn! redbox Scam!

For your consideration: Damn! redbox Scam!

Before we begin:

redbox is NOT scamming you!

Again . . .

redbox is NOT scamming you!

If you don’t know who/what redbox is, Google it and then recognize.

The Money Kings previously endorsed redbox as the best place to rent DVDs.

  • The prices are cheap.
  • Locations are plentiful.
  • Reservations can be booked online.
  • Returns can be made anywhere.

What’s not to like??!!

Well, we’ve just found out what’s not to like. Today one of our crew went to rent Mulberry St., but instead received Bee Movie.

Wha???????????????!!!!!!

Upon receiving the wrong movie from the machine, our crew member immediately called customer support—who were very courteous in issuing a free rental. But . . . After hanging around the machine for a while, our crew member noticed that the same mistake was befalling other unsuspecting redbox customers.

Wha????!!! is going on??!!!

This is when we went to school.

Standing next to the machine was a guy informing all of us that: “They gone git you, man. Be careful. Last week they gave me a P. Diddy CD.”

This gentlemen then informed us of the scam:

Apparently, a$$holes are renting DVD from the redbox machines, removing the stickers from the DVDs and then reattaching them to disks they don’t want before “returning” their fugazis. Know what we mean?

We are continually amazed at what a ladron can come up with these days. . . Caveat Emptor.

Shame on redbox too for not burning the bar codes into their disk cores. The Money Kings always assumed this was the case, but today we, ladies and gentlemen, got scammed!

Good luck out there.
